Daily Schedule

   We dont mind if you join in or be a lazy bum and not join in on our societys fun! Heres our agenda as follows:   9:00am-10:30am: Fossil dig! search for fossils in our land.

                                  11:00am-1:00pm: Museum tour. Look at all the things from

                                  dinosaur eggs to human bodily functions.

                                   2:00pm-5:00pm: Rest time

                                   5:15pm-7:30pm: Big town feast come and gather and get to

                                   know your fellow welcoming neigbors and eat away!

                                   8:00pm-10:00pm: Cave Night come crawl in the cozy cave

                                   cuddled up in blankets watching a projective movie every night

                                   before going to bed.

Journal Entry #3

   Good morning Dino topia, this morning has been pretty crazy for me already. I walked outside of my cave home and instantly my eyes drew up to the sky! because wanna know what I saw? The towns volcano mt. wannahalkalugi was erupting! My mouth hit the floor in amazement! All the town members watched in shock at the erupting volcano. The town rescue team asked all members of Dinotopia to go back to there homes until further notice. As I got to my home I sat down still in shock at what I just saw with my eyes. I got up to look out my window and as I did I noticed I had one of the best views of Mt. Wannahalkalugi and I could see all that was happening. As I stood and watched what was happening I started to think of what could happen. Would we all be evacuated? "Is our town going to be destroyed after today?" The thoughts were killing me. I went back to the couch to sit down. I started to go off in my thoughts and as I did I noticed myself falling alseep. "BOOM BOOM!!!" I wake up to a very loud bang on my front door. Still very tired I barley remembered what happened that day. Finally I reached the front door and opened it.  A very larg man stood there. I noticed from the logo on his shirt that he was from the Dinotopia rescue team. He said that they have Mt. Wannahalkalugi under control and to stay in our house until further notice. I shut the door when he left and sat down again. It was about Five minutes later when I heard another loud bang at my front door. I opened it once again to find the same man who was here minutes ago. He had a scared panicked look on his face. " Hurry please, the volcano got out of hand and is getting harder to control. We need you to go on the other side of the lake to keep safe." I amediently asked how much time i have to get a few things. He replied " you have less than five minutes, please hurry!" I slammed the door and ran into my room grabbing all the clothes and useful supplies I could find. I ran out of the house and started to follow where everyone was running to. It was later than 20 minutes when we finally reached the other side of the lake. There were so many trees you could barley see what was happening. Everyone was setting up tents to camp out because we didnt know how long we would be there. But when i seen everyone doing that I suddenly noticed that was the one thing I forgot. A man next to me said i can use one of his, it was an extra one. I thanked him for his kindness and started setting it up. About 10 minutes later it was all finished. I had a little dinner that a few of our town members made for everyone. Then i laid inside my tent for the rest of the night thinking and wondering when i could go back to my home. Im going to get some shut eye and fall fastly into my dreams for the night. Hopefully tommorrow is a better day.

Journal Entry #2

   Day number 2 in Dino topia! I decided to join to be one of the counselours in Dino topia! Thats great huh! All I did was go to the mayor and ask him if there needed to be any service needed any help in and he mentioned that people love to express their feelings here and would love for me to be peoples and the dinos counselor to listen and give advice to them cause thats what I do best. :D Im really excited to start I start in 3 days.
 Tonight I had so much fun because the whole town gathered to have a huge bon fire by the jurassic lake it was so soothing just to visit with townsfolk I have never met before. I met this new dinosaur that moved in a couple houses down from me named Ivan and he is a Utah Rapter he is originally from utah thats where he and his family came from. We talked for hours and hours. Plus one of the interesting things they did that night was The T-rex's of the town had these huge drums that they played it was intense! But that was my day! Im saying goodnight Dino topia I love you!

Journal Entry #1

   Dear Journal, Today was a fun yet interesting day the whole town woke up around 9:00 A.M in the morning. I got up just like everyone else put on my uniform and brushed my teeth with my new toothbrush made out of grass. Usually people would want their teeth white but here in this town the style is to have green teeth! Anyways on with my day I walked out of my door and three cute little baby Microrapters they are bird like dinosaurs with wings on arms and legs really little guys about 2 feet long and 3-4 pounds looks like this: 

    They all in their tiny little voices said "excuse me person of dinotopia were from the boy and girl jurassic scouts may we do some volunteer work for you?" I replied "Hmm... I dont know if I have something so far but it would be oh so nice if you fellas would run this letter to the post office for me im late for a family activity im doing today." "Alright thanks so much! It will be delivered in no time!" the microrapers exclaimed.

 After they had left I ran out the door to meet my family at the new museum the city had just had a fundraser for and built. My family were normal humans and they brought along their cute new dino pet named claw which is a dinosaur that is small and has long legs and little arms running around he's so cute! After we met up we went and ate some breakfast at the Stegasorus Restaraunt its soo yummy! I cant wait for the next few days this was my first day didnt do much but it was great!

Invitation to friends

     Dear great and noble friends, I want to tell you a little bit about Dinotopia and its society and how it works so that you may give a thought about residing here. Dinotopia is filled with all your hopes and dreams. Speaking about dreams have you ever had a scary dream that a dinosaur is chasing you or maybe even trying to eat you well come get away from those dreams and face those fears and come visit Dinotopia! The dinosaurs here are way friendly and there not your average meat eaters. We have more than 200 different kinds of dinos!
     Crazy i know right? The setting of our town is beautiful just like a forest currently the homes here are either in trees or somewhere along the famous Jurassic Lake. We also recently built a wonderful educative museum about dinosaurs and about humans so that not just humans can learn about the dinos, but the dinos can learn about humans and we have gotten some great comments on it so far. So come have a blast learning and living in Dinotopia.

Governing Body

     Our government consists of one leader that rules and makes decisions of Dinotopia by having a voting process. When one of our members of our society wish to make a rule or concern for the town, (maybe even making town decisions) during our conferences we do it the old fashioned way. Its the only way to govern a town not with our are minds but with luck. By getting a hat or a bowl of some sort and putting all of your ideas and concerns inside of it and randomly selecting one of the papers. Whose ever paper gets selected wins the vote or concern ideas.
